ECONOMY FEATURE REDESIGN

Here is my redesign solution for the economy feature. I decided to change the headline to, "The Men Behind the Money" because I felt that it represented the backstage view that these two economists have. I got the idea from the Wizard of Oz, "Man behind the curtain." Please do not ask me how the Wizard of Oz made me think of the economy, but the idea of the behind-the-scenes-Wizard-character correlates with these behind-the-scenes economists. For the side bar at the end of the second spread I decided to make the definitions pop out on coin-like ellipses. Let me know what you think!     I like your redesign, great improvement from your original. I did something similar to you in putting their faces in money (oh, we are so creative, haha)...and am still stumped on a new approach to this story. So, what you did, I think, is really creative. My only two suggestions would be perhaps a different font on the first page...it gives me a bit of a western feel instead of something theatrical. And the sidebar looks fun..but maybe you could incorporate that movie/theater theme in that too? Anyway, cool concept!
